Meet Diego Garcia, one of our talented technicians at Carr Chevrolet! Diego has been with us for almost a year and holds an associate's degree in automotive tech from PCC. He’s passionate about cars and enjoys constantly learning something new in the industry. Diego wishes more people knew about the extensive training and education required to be a high-quality technician. When asked about his experience at Carr Chevy, he highlighted the great growth opportunities and how it's an excellent place to advance your career. His love for working on personal vehicles and continuous learning is what initially attracted him to the automotive industry!
As part of the Subaru Love Promise, this month we dedicated our efforts to Subaru Loves Learning. We've been running a program called Pack The Outback, where we collected school supplies for a local kindergarten class at Beaver Acres. Our team, along with our generous customers, donated supplies, and once we gathered everything, we delivered them to the school. To show our appreciation, we also washed all of the teachers' vehicles and celebrated their hard work with a pizza party, drinks, and a surprise Teacher Sanity Relief Kit!
Meet Chris Waggoner, our go-to EV technician with 21 years in the industry. Serving as a Technician, Dispatcher, and Shop Foreman, Chris is a master at his craft, boasting some of the highest EV battery replacement numbers in the Pacific Northwest. On top of that, he's a two-time national champion cyclist!
