We have a large lunch room with refrigerator and TV.

Our Foremen work with all of our apprentices.

We are involved with many charities in our community including Albertina Kerr and the Childs Center.

Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

We do work with the local community college to hire straight form their programs.

What do your in-person interviews entail?

Our service manager interviews the applicants and also our shop foreman's may interview the applicant. If the service manager wants to move forward with the applicant, he send them to the HR Director for the final interview.

Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?

Yes we do.

A Level Technician
A Level Technicians are highly skilled technicians that have strengths in their diagnostic and mechanical ability. This level of technician typically has many years of experience and education. We view an A Level Technician as the highest skilled technician in a shop
Pay Range: $52,000 - $100,000/year

Flat Rate

B Level Technician
B Level Technicians are skilled in mechanical repair and, while not their specialty, have some diagnostic skills. B Level Technicians generally have a fair amount of experience and can be trusted to handle most repairs.
Pay Range: $41,600 - $49,920/year

C Level Technician
C Level Technicians are more of entry level technicians. C Level Technicians’ responsibilities typically include basic maintenance, alignments, brake and suspension work, along with other base level repairs.
Pay Range: $41,600 - $46,800/year

Lube Technician
Lube Technicians are entry level technicians that focus on routine maintenance such as oil changes, changing tires, and inspections.
Pay Range: $35,360 - $37,440/year


Service Advisor
Service Advisors are primarily customer focused and, as one of the faces of the shop, they are critical in keeping customers happy. Service Advisors are frequently focused on taking customer calls, relaying information to technicians, and selling repair jobs. Both technical and sales experience are helpful for this position.
Pay Range: $50,000 - $110,000/year

Salary plus commission on parts and labor.

Service Manager
Service Managers are responsible for management and overall health of the shop. Service Managers are typically focused on running an efficient shop that meets their financial goals. Other responsibilities can include staffing, performance evaluations, and financial analysis amongst many other responsibilities.
Pay Range: $90,000 - $150,000/year

Salary plus department bonus.

Collision Technician - A Level Pay Range: $60,000 - $150,000/year

Collision Technician - B Level Pay Range: $40,000 - $90,000/year

Flat Rate

Collision Painter Pay Range: $60,000 - $150,000/year

Flat Rate

Collision Prepper Pay Range: $31,200 - $35,360/year

Carr Auto Group Orientation Video 2022

We celebrated Hayden Thompson's 15th year of service at our annual company picnic. Hayden started as a car porter when he was just 15 and moved up through our apprentice program. He is now our Diesel Technician and one of the best in the state! Congrats Hayden!

We have a wellness fair every year to educate our employees about their benefits!

We like to have fun at Carr Auto Group. We plan out fun days through out year. One of our biggest events is Halloween. We give out prizes for BEST Costume and have a pot luck at each of our stores!
