The biggest event of the year we can boast about is our Annual Holiday Party, where we fly all of our employees + their dates, from all locations to the party location for a weekend with hotel and airfare covered to celebrate our end-of-year. Top Shop Challenge: With MLB season fully underway, does your shop ever do team outings to a game? Even if it's not an MLB game, what other things do you do with the team?
Every year, we have a "Komro Summer Picnic"! It's a fun event where we invite all our amazing employees, their families, and children to join us for a day filled with yard games, delicious food, and some refreshing beverages. We even have prizes to give away, including a cash prize for the winning team of the bean bag tournament. It's a day that everyone looks forward to and a great way for everyone to come together and enjoy each other's company.

Hoping to get some feedback on other shops hiring process. After you hire a technician, do you put them on probationary period for 60-90 days? Order uniforms for them right away? Do you keep hiring the least experienced technicians so at least they can do oil changes, tires, etc? Or hold out for the experienced technician you are crossing your fingers for? Is a warm body better than nobody at all?

This month we had an opportunity to attend the Cuba City Wi high school FFA career fair, I got to talk to a few students about the jobs that we do in truck repair, fabrication and towing. We also handed out some goodies the kids got to take home, a few of the kids got to see our JPro software that we use out on our mobile service trucks, and touch and feel some of the tools we use in the industry.
