🌟 Mechanic's Corner: Tami's Story 🌟 We recently had an experience that reminded us of the importance of slowing down and truly listening to our customers. Tami came to us frustrated and untrusting of mechanics. She had been charged over $1000 for a new water pump at another shop and didn't believe the work had been done. Despite her efforts to get them to make it right, they insisted the repair was completed. Understandably, Tami was distraught and felt all shops were out to get her. We were a bit apprehensive, knowing how challenging it can be when a customer believes their car's issues are all your responsibility. However, our level-headed service advisor stepped in, calmed her down, and diagnosed the real issue. We discovered the water pump still had a rusty hub and the original factory paint marker from 2001, proving it hadn't been replaced. This situation highlighted the importance of thorough inspections and honest communication. By taking the time to listen and investigate, we were able to help Tami during a stressful time with a vehicle she relies on for her livelihood. This experience reinforced our commitment to good business practices and the value of earning our customers' trust. Let's continue to uphold these standards and support each other in delivering exceptional service.
