Universal Technical Institute Field Trip
Thank you to Kay and the rest of the folks at the UTI Lisle campus for showing us around your facility. The students were able to see their general auto program, welding, and green energy programs as well as OE programs from Ford, BMW, Freightliner and Toyota. On the way home we stopped at Arlington Toyota. The students were able to meet a Hersey Auto graduate that works there, and he spoke to them about that is is like to be a Certified Tech.

Top Shop Challenge: What are a couple of things you'd like to highlight that happened last month?
We ended the busiest month of the year with 42 techs and 3 shop managers. We have 5 in express lube, 3 trainees and the rest full line techs. We flagged 5627 hours in December and wrote 2097 repair orders. Techs received their annual longevity bonuses which is always a great time of year. This is based on annual hours flagged and years of service.
