Two sophmores converted this 1970 Fiat 124 Spider to an electric vehicle.
During the summer of 2023, two of our sophomores worked all summer to convert a 1970 Fiat 124 Spider into an electric vehicle. The two students spent countless hours on the project and the project came out really nice.

XEV course in development for delivery
JCTC has had the HEV course in our curriculum for years but we need to update the information and we need instructional DEMO items, like HEV batteries, ECU's, motors, etc. and various other HEV parts.

Top Shop Challenge: What is your process for onboarding a new technician? How do you make them feel welcome while also ensuring they learn everything they need to know?
It's different depending on if you join the Quick Lane, Main Shop or Mobile Service team. However we assist with training, introductions, and teaching processes special to Paul Clark Ford. We have a culture where we help each other out. We rely on each other to give our customers the best service possible! We have a very experienced shop foreman to assist as well.

New year new instructors
We are into the new year. This year, we have added a 4th instructor to our Rockwell Campus and will be adding a 2nd instructor to the Danforth Campus. We will also be adding a teaching assistant to the Reno campus. We are adding instructors because we have a large waiting list for the course. We are seeking Advisory committee members and guest speakers to help us this year.
