Helping Paws Raises Over $14,000 at the 8th Annual Mutts and Mimosas Brunch with Support from Tom Wood Subaru! At Tom Wood Subaru, we’re committed to giving back to the community, and one of the causes closest to our hearts is supporting our furry friends in need. This year, we were proud to sponsor the 8th Annual Mutts and Mimosas Valentine’s Day Brunch, held on Sunday, February 19, 2023, at The District Tap. This much-anticipated event, organized by Helping Paws Adoptable Animals, was an incredible celebration of compassion, fun, and community spirit. Guests enjoyed an afternoon filled with activities like a silent auction, 50/50 raffle, bingo, and mystery bag sales, all while savoring delicious offerings from The District Tap’s menu. Helping Paws is dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating animals in need. Their mission to improve the lives of animals and promote responsible pet ownership is truly inspiring. Every dollar raised goes directly toward helping dogs and cats find loving homes and supporting spay and neuter programs to reduce the pet population. This year’s event raised an incredible $14,350, and we couldn’t be prouder to have played a part in making this possible. Christa Petske, a representative from Helping Paws, shared, “Thank you so much for your continued support Tom Wood Subaru. Because of you, we were able to raise $14,350! Thank you just doesn’t seem enough to say!” A special presentation at the event showcased the incredible work Helping Paws has accomplished over the past year. Seeing the dedication and passion of their volunteers reaffirmed why we’re committed to supporting such meaningful efforts. We’re grateful for opportunities like Mutts and Mimosas that allow us to live out Subaru’s Love Promise—caring for pets and giving back to our community. Thank you to everyone who attended, donated, or participated in this wonderful event. Together, we’re making a difference, one paw at a time.
