If you were applying for a job and no salary was listed, what would you do?
Technician
I'm real quick to look at ones that have an actual hourly range. For ones that list an annual range, it's gotta have something else to really attract my attention. If there is no salary posted, I'm moving on. They're going to low ball and low ball badly if they aren't proud of what they are offering.
Educator
I would determine a valuation number based on my skillsets and experience. Then, during the interview, I would provide evidence, such as credentials, to prove my valuation. I used this strategy once and was hired at a salary slightly over my valuation. I came up with the idea based on my experience in the stock market trading publicly traded companies where market analysts continuously discuss valuations.
