On a beautiful, sunny October day, four dedicated team members from Tom Wood Subaru made a heartfelt journey to Edison School of the Arts. Loaded with essential school supplies and boundless enthusiasm, they were warmly welcomed by Principal Amy Berns, whose smile set the tone for a day of connection and community. Edison School of the Arts is a special place with a powerful mission—to serve as an educational and artful resource for students, parents and community. Their vision is one of inspiration, where high academic and creative achievement thrive, and students grow into responsible citizens with a deep appreciation for cultural diversity. Tom Wood Subaru was honored to play a part in supporting this mission. At Tom Wood Subaru, we believe that every student deserves an equal opportunity for quality education, and through our ongoing partnership with AdoptAClassroom.org, we’re able to help close the gap for high-needs schools like Edison. Teachers at these schools often dip into their own pockets to provide students with the basic resources they need to learn and succeed. Tom Wood Subaru, along with all other Subaru retailers are working to change that reality, by providing funding for classroom supplies and resources that make a real difference in the lives of students and educators. Our Tom Wood Subaru team was thrilled to deliver supply kits, joining through the Subaru Loves Learning initiative. This initiative, recognized with the prestigious 2023 Gold Halo Award for Best Education Initiative, demonstrates our commitment to fostering a love for learning. Through this partnership, Subaru has proudly supported more than 750,000 students, and we’re grateful to extend that support to Edison School of the Arts!!! As they handed over supplies, our team couldn’t help but notice the joy and hope in the eyes of Edison’s students. Knowing these supplies would empower young learners to thrive and explore their creativity was a reminder that Subaru is, indeed, "More Than a Car Company". Together, we’re building brighter futures and nurturing the next generation of lifelong learners and art lovers.
