Top Shop Challenge: What are a couple of things you'd like to highlight that happened last month?
This month we dialed in our internal messaging platform, we are having techs take pictures and videos of their recommendations to help customers better understand the reasoning behind their recommendations. In the month of May last year we did a total of 5020 hours in the shop and this year we did 5664 hours! Thats an increase of 13% for the total shop hours! Going into one of our busiest months we are excited to see what this new photo and video messaging platform can do to help our customers better understand what their cars need to make sure their cars are ready for the summertime!

Guys Truck and Tractor has been busy servicing many types of equipment and trucks. The technicians have been working very hard to stay on top of the work load and keep equipment moving in and out of the shop for our customers.

Top Shop Challenge: Memorial Day is the unofficial start to summer. Does your shop do anything special either for Memorial Day or in general during the summer?
Our Pacific BMW After-Sales managers took out different tools for Memorial day and treated all employees to a delicious barbecue! Grateful to those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation's freedom and grateful for those who share their culinary skills for others to enjoy at work!

Top Shop Challenge: Does your shop offer any sort of flexible or non-traditional schedules for technicians?
Our shop is closed Sundays for family day. The advisor/tech schedule is on a three-week rotation. For example, an advisor and their team will have Monday off and work Tuesday-Saturday. The next two weeks they would work Monday through Friday, then the cycle starts again. We find that having a weekday off allows you flexibility and 3-day weekends are always nice!
