The kids figured out the vacuum routing for the diverter valve on the front of the blower and relocated the 3 bar map sensor to the back of the blower this morning. After letting the car idle for 10 mins to figure out the new injectors this thing sounds like a monster!

I saw this photo from Hurricane Ian, and was really struck by what I saw behind the beach front house that survived. In the block behind it, just one place fell, while every other block numerous houses were reduced. Senior techs, you have an opportunity to shield your junior techs. The way we were taught, getting thrown to the wolves, hazed, harassed, etc., is not the best way. Sure, our young counterparts need to learn how to solve hard problems, where to find information, and how to cope with the crazy things that happen in this business, but you can either be the shield that helps them through the storm, or you can be the debris that sweeps them away. Let's do what we can to set them up for success, not by coddling, but by standing strong in our own storms and setting an example of what right looks like.
