This is Vaughn Smith. He is one of our Subaru specialists. He has been working as a technician for 9 years. He enjoys the outdoors and loves to go snowboarding and rock climbing.
One of the things that attracted Vaughn to this industry is that he enjoys taking things apart and putting them all back together. He prefers a hands-on learning experience to further his expertise in vehicles.
Something that Vaughn wished people knew about being a technician is even though a problem with a vehicle may seem minor, you have to look over the vehicle as a whole to confirm the concern. Each individual part works together to power the vehicle, so if one piece is even the slightest bit off it could have an effect on other parts.
Vaughn's favorite thing about working here is his coworkers and the family-like environment that we have here. He enjoys the company of his coworkers & has genuine friendships with them which helps make his job easier. He truly enjoys working with our shop foreman Scott Clark. While describing his admiration for Scott, he said "Scott supports and respects each individual, making it very easy to get along with him not only as a boss but as a friend."
