My name is Jafet Velazques Canizalez, I currently work at Carr Chevrolet as a Lube Technician. I have been in the Automotive Industry for over 2 years. Ever since I was young, I’ve had a passion for cars, I’m grateful to have the opportunity to make that passion my job.
What attracted me to the industry was wanting to learn more about what being a Technician means. I was attracted to Chevrolet because the vehicle are easy to work with and are quite reliable.
Being a Lube Technician is more about just changing oil, lights, or tightening a few nuts and bolts. Safety it of utmost importance, that’s why I think it’s best to focus on the Quality of work rather than the Quantity of work.
My co-workers are all dedicated to the trade and are extremely knowledgeable and willing to help others learn. The people at Carr Chevy strive to create an environment that is both fun, and educational.
