    Over the last couple of years I have watched several YouTube videos from young technicians ready to leave this line of work. I try to keep an open mind and listen closely to their reasons. While I am only hearing one side of the story, and not any feed back from the shop owner or dealership, I hear enough to draw my own conclusions. One common denominator I find in a lot of the videos is the technician’s heart was never in it to begin with.

    One thing I've noticed, techs who do a good job, who make good hours, don't spend time on social media. I guess they're too busy making hours to get on social media and pump up the trade. Maybe they do and their videos don't go viral because we are conditioned to complain and thrive in negativity. I don't know. I just know it's very rare to run across a post like yours. Thanks for stopping by and sharing a little positivity in all the negativity.
