Our Service Manager; Russ Stevens, received another great email from one of our customers, regarding the service he received from Service Advisor; Todd VonBlon. Russell, I would just like to take a few moments to acknowledge technical talents and professionalism I have experienced from Todd VonBlon since 2009! I am currently driving my 4th Subaru since that year and have in part stuck to the brand because of the honest and reliable service Todd has ensured at Tom Wood Subaru. In one instance, I hit a pothole, and my Forester developed an intermittent shimmy at highway speeds. I dented the inner bead of one of the front rims. I bought a new rim, but it was only a partial remedy. I went to a big-name tire shop out of convenience one weekend for an alignment. I was thinking they would find something bent and diagnose the problem in the process. They quoted me well over $1000 in parts and labor required before an alignment could supposedly be performed. This tire shop named off several suspension parts that I suspected were fine. I made this assumption based on my rudimentary automotive knowledge from 2 years of high school auto mechanics and a couple of years working in a mom-and-pop garage. But you Service Advisor; Todd suspected the correct bushings, and the car was fixed on the first try, at remarkably less cost than the tire shop. Thank you, Scott Roller
