What's the highest annual compensation you've seen from a technician you personally know? (Actual compensation, not what they could make if everything went perfectly.)
Technician
$110k Wages for many years were stagnant. Wages have went up a lot the past few years, not because they wanted to, but because the tech shortage has forced them too. Been a tech for almost 40 yrs now and said for many years, had Wages, benefits and less hours been around decades ago, we probably wouldn't be in the situation now where we have a huge shortage of people wanting to do this, along with many that left the industry because of it. Past few years flat rate Wages went from upper $20 to $30 flat rate to high $40-$50 and still, many shops are left short handed. (edited)
