    Our shop is all in on the future of EV repair. As a VW authorized battery repair center we have all of the tools and training need to safely open high-voltage batteries for repair or component replacement. Volkswagen has designed battery packs in EVs to be modular and relatively easy to repair unlike some other manufacturers. This helps our EVs be more affordable over their lifetime due to individual cell module replacement being an alternative repair to replacing an entire battery assembly.

    Each quarter, our Park Place Land Rover family selects a local charitable organization to support. This quarter we selected the Tarrant County Community Partners "Holiday Hope Project." This program supports children that are within the Child Protective Services system. They have been removed from their home, their family, their friends.... Each child has a different situation, but each situation is traumatic in its own way.

To celebrate them and their accomplishments, our leadership team brought in breakfast burritos from a local fave in the area and personally thanked each technician when handing them their bonus. We value our techs and appreciate the contributions they provide day in and day out to our Park Place family!

    Top Shop Challenge: How does your shop handle end of year performance reviews?

    Our shop handles performance reviews at the end of the year taking a look back at where we were last year at the same time, and to where the shop has gone in the year! We discuss individual growth and production numbers, as well as we toss in some social chit chat to catch up on our busy personal lives. We don't save any bad news or comments for this meeting as those are addressed as things happen! It's a very comfortable meeting.
