Not only is there a shortage of technicians in our industry, but there is also a shortage of instructors. It is no easy task being a teacher, and it takes a special personality to excel at it. Have you ever considered being an auto or diesel instructor? Please explain why or why not in the comments below.

I can't speak for other states, but in PA teachers in the mechanic trades are not required to have any degree to start teaching but they have to pursue their teaching degree over the next 10 years. The good news is that nearly all schools reimburse the money spent on those teaching courses.
