VERY SOON; students will be competing in a Small Gas Engine Building Competition at RVC's ATC Center in Belvidere, IL . The event is organized by CEANCI and includes other regional CTE programs as students come and demonstrate their knowledge, ability and collaborate as a team or individually in the areas of Automotive, Engineering, Welding and Woodworking.

A Subaru Journey: Going Above and Beyond Katherine Grasso and her friends had eagerly set out for a weekend in St. Louis, excited for a getaway filled with plans and adventures. Their trusty Subaru, Katherine's fourth, seemed equally ready for the journey at the time. However, as fate would have it, a minor setback occurred. Despite the best-laid out plans, their Subaru encountered an unexpected issue along the way. Undeterred by this hiccup, Katherine reached out to Tom Wood Subaru, hoping for a solution to get them back on the road. At the dealership, they were greeted warmly by Eric Cassidy, whose dedication and empathy shone through from the moment they arrived. Despite a busy day, Eric swiftly diagnosed the problem, assured them of the team's commitment to resolve it, and even arranged transportation so Katherine and her friends could enjoy a meal without waiting at the dealership.
