Gaffney, SC
I am excited to let you know that Benore Logistics has made a very generous donation to our program. As part of the Diesel Emissions Reduction Act (DERA) Grant Benore was scheduled to decommission several trucks to meet requirements to purchase new electric drive trucks. Since these trucks were destined for the scrap yard, Benore donated them to our program. We received four 2005 International day cab trucks from Benore. As part of the decommissioning process, we were required to cut the frames and put a hole in the engine block. Even though the trucks are now decommissioned they will still serve as great training materials for students for years to come. I have attached photos of the trucks. Thanks to WrenchWay we were able to make this connection. Benore had originally planned on simply scrapping the trucks, but now these trucks can help train a new generation of technicians. I hope that we can spread the word to other businesses about opportunities like this. Thank you Benore Logistics for making this great donation
