At Tom Wood Subaru, community involvement isn't just a commitment; it's a passion. Recently, we had the honor of sponsoring the annual “Britton Falls Tees It Up for Vets” charity golf outing, held at the picturesque golf course in Fishers, Indiana. This event, organized by the vibrant 55+ community of Britton Falls, aims to support the Otis T. Bowen Indy Vet House, a vital haven for veterans and their families in need of extended medical care. This year’s event, that was held on 9/11/24, with the generous support from participants and sponsors like Tom Wood Subaru, the community shattered records with a remarkable donation of $25,000. This substantial contribution will go a long way in providing essential amenities such as nutritious meals, comfortable accommodations, and a supportive environment for veterans undergoing medical treatment at the nearby VA Medical Center in Indianapolis. "The support from Tom Wood Subaru and other local businesses has been instrumental in our ability to make a significant impact on the lives of veterans," remarked Bob Otto, organizer of the event. "With this year's record donation, we can continue to enhance the quality of life for those who have sacrificed so much for our country." "We are proud to stand alongside the Britton Falls community in supporting such a worthy cause," said the staff at Tom Wood Subaru. "Events like these embody the spirit of giving back that defines our dealership's commitment to our community."
