Carlton Williams and Carlton Bradshaw. Two great Mechanics. It was very common in those days that a new hire would be placed with seasoned Mechanics to learn the trade. I got the training, they got the helper… I basically walked off the street with a hand held toolbox and was hired. The shop owners knew how to develop new Mechanics. Circa 1987

I had other Technicians in the shop who were veteran's and masters on another brand. I was the only technician working on 1 brand but, there were 2 other Master GM Tech's who really helped me get to where I am today. I thank them both for being patient with me and for making time to let me know that I would get there. Without them, I probably would have quit the industry completely!

The number 1 man in the shop who gave me the confidence and being able to stop second guessing myself was Jesse Thomas, There were a few other veteran tech's that really helped me out but I was in a small shop and Jesse always seemed to make time if he saw me having a major problem.
