The BCTVHS Automotive Program continues to provide students with hands-on training and technical knowledge for careers in the automotive industry. This year, students completed projects like engine teardown and reassembly, brake system diagnostics, cooling system maintenance, and OBD-II troubleshooting. Working in a fully equipped shop, they gain real-world experience while developing critical skills like teamwork, problem-solving, and safety compliance. With a curriculum shaped by industry standards and inclusive support for all learners, the program prepares students for ASE certifications and future success in the field.

Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting a group of students from Bloomington Career and College Academy for a tour of our Toyota store in Bloomington. Erik Tiller, Service Manager at our Wayzata Nissan location, joined us to discuss the various growth opportunities available for technicians at Walser. Derek Thompson, an ASE World Class Toyota Technician, also shared insights into the certification process and the ongoing training that our team members receive.
