Typically 10-20 technicians, with 3 service advisors, and a full parts staff
What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?
8:00-6:00 (Monday-Friday) 8:00-4:00 (Saturday) This is typically a rotating shift, but there is flexibility if technician wants to work it SUNDAYS OFF
What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?
All electronic diagnostic tools, and any manufacturer specific tools.
What type of break room facility is provided?
Locker rooms, and break rooms on site, tables chairs, fridge, microwave, coffee maker
How many bays does your shop have?
Every technician has two bays, master technicians can work with three
How many repair orders do you average per month?
1,000-1,100 a month
What is your parts ordering process?
The technician, or service advisor will go to parts counter and punch in all parts needed. All of our systems are connected so this is very fast and easy. Most parts are kept on hand, but if not we try and get within 24 hours.
What is your policy on side work?
No side work in the shop, but technicians can work on their own personal vehicles during off hours.

Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?
Both manufacturer and partnership trainings are offered (Ohio Tech. Cred program), we also offer reimbursement or direct pay for other certifications.
Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?
We will take an entry level apprentice up to master technician. We will map out a career path for all levels so career goals can be achieved.
Can you describe your performance review process?
Regular performance meetings happen with Shop Manager and Shop Foreman. Also developmental meetings happen throughout the year to keep technicians advancing at an appropriate pace.
What type of safety training is required?
Depending on the job there is safety training for all employees in house through the Cleveland Auto Associations, additional hazmat certs is offered as well which is annual as well
Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?
All apprentices are assigned to an A-Level Master Technician. That relationship will continue all the way through C-Tech Level. When they advance to B-A Levels they will start to break out on their own.
How does your shop get involved with the local community?
Volunteer opportunities Donation opportunities Food drives Blood drives every 90 days on site School outreach program
Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?
School outreach programs where we go out and lecture at local trade schools, employees on staff that are professors at some of the tech schools that will go teach classes, will also sponsor them with things like tools and offer job opportunities
Is there anything else you’d like to mention about career development and community?
Military friendly organization, several military technicians that are still involved
Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?
Yes, a little discussion about their resume and background, but more about if the technician fits the mold of what they are looking for.
What do your in-person interviews entail?
This is done with the Fixed Ops Director, we go into more detail about their background and certifications. We also talk more about the technician as an individual. Things like hobbies and family.
Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?
Background and drug tests are done. With the background check it is more to make sure that they have four points or less so they can drive a vehicle. Classified as a second chance employer
Do you perform a skill assessment before hiring an applicant? If yes, what does it entail?
No
After an in-person interview, approximately how long should I expect to wait for a rejection or an offer?
Offers are usually made on the spot at the time of the interview. If we are on the fence usually not more than a couple of days.
Approximately how long does the full hiring process take from submitting the application to the time of the hiring decision?
We will honor a two weeks notice. If they want to start immediately after background and drug test that is possible after about 24 hours

A Level Technician
Pay Range: $50,000.00 - $150,000.00/year
Flat Rate 40 Hour guarantee for first 90 days $5000 SIGN ON BONUS AFTER 6 MONTHS
Service Manager
Pay Range: $72,000.00 - $200,000.00/year
Base Salary plus Bonus no Sunday, no Nights, 5 day work week.
Service Advisor
Pay Range: $24,000.00 - $80,000.00/year
Base salary plus bonus $3000 SIGN ON BONUS AFTER SIX MONTHS
Lube Technician
Pay Range: $32,000.00 - $45,000.00/year
Hourly Technician
Collision Technician - B Level
Pay Range: $40,000.00 - $62,500.00/year
Flat Rate 40 Hour guarantee for the first 90 days $3000 SIGN ON BONUS AFTER 6 MONTHS
C Level Technician
Pay Range: $35,000.00 - $100,000.00/year
FLAT RATE 40 Hour guarantee for first 90 days $2000 SIGN ON BONUS AFTER 6 MONTHS.
B Level Technician
Pay Range: $40,000.00 - $125,000.00/year
Flat Rate 40 Hour guarantee for first 90 days $3000 SIGN ON BONUS AFTER 6 MONTHS
Student Tech / Apprentice
Pay Range: $16.00 - $18.00/hour
