Sheboygan Auto Group is looking for an experienced Service Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and extensive knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance. As a key member of our team, the Automotive Service Manager will oversee all aspects of our service department and ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Ensure customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service
• Serve as a liaison between technicians and customers
• Take ownership of customers’ experience by carrying out additional assignments, enabling the dealership to leave a positive impression with the customer

• Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the service department

• Create and maintain service schedules, ensuring timely completion of all repairs and maintenance work

• Collaborate with service advisors to ensure accurate and efficient scheduling of appointments

• Monitor and manage service department performance, including productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction

• Develop and implement processes and procedures to improve efficiency and customer service

• Hire, train, and supervise service technicians and support staff

• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to employees

• Review and approve all service department expenses and invoices

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in automotive service management preferred
• Extensive knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance processes and procedures
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with dealership management systems
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings if necessary
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
