What is the size of the team I’d be working with?

Our individual Teams are made up of 4-7 techs but you would work with the entire Shop. Genset/Transmission/Field and Shop are all made of different sized groups.

What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

1st shift 6am -2:30pm 2nd shift 2pm till 10:30pm. Shop open from 6-10:30 M-F and 6am -2:30pm Sat.

What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

Specialized tooling is provided

What type of break room facility is provided?

We have an air conditioned break room with information kiosk, TV, ice and coffee machines, refrigerator and microwaves.

How many bays does your shop have?

27 Bays

How many repair orders do you average per month?

Differs every month but the work orders keep our 27 bays full at all times

What is your parts ordering process?

We have a procedure that is currently part of our Wheeltime Process

What is your policy on side work?

No moonlighting

Are there any other unique features of the work environment worth noting?

Its Hot outside and usually inside, no snow or ice, typically a dry work environment. Work on a variety of Equipment to include all OEMs including the chassis.

YES, per the company mentorship role, technician development program, Regional Training Centers and OEM’s

What type of safety training is required?

First couple days the online safety and compliance training is performed, morning meetings and monthly safety meetings are held. All other training is performed quarterly and annually as required and part of the US COMPLIANCE program.

We partner with local tech schools to provide materials/ equipment

We have made concerted efforts to meet with students quarterly to answer questions regarding the profession and encourage career development within the field.

Yes, candidates can apply online and should only take a maximum of 15 minutes.

In-person interviews usually involve the hiring manager and will be face to face.

We perform backgrounds and drug test for all new hires.

We do administer a mechanical aptitude for some positions and a behavioral analysis post offer.

We strive to be quick in our decisions, you can expect an offer or rejection quickly after the interview but maximum three days.

A Level Technician
A Level Technicians are highly skilled technicians that have strengths in their diagnostic and mechanical ability. This level of technician typically has many years of experience and education. We view an A Level Technician as the highest skilled technician in a shop
Pay Range: $66,560 - $85,280/year

Journeyman

B Level Technician
B Level Technicians are skilled in mechanical repair and, while not their specialty, have some diagnostic skills. B Level Technicians generally have a fair amount of experience and can be trusted to handle most repairs.
Pay Range: $54,080 - $72,800/year

Tech 2 - Tech 1

C Level Technician
C Level Technicians are more of entry level technicians. C Level Technicians’ responsibilities typically include basic maintenance, alignments, brake and suspension work, along with other base level repairs.
Pay Range: $43,680 - $60,320/year

Tech 4 - Tech 3

D Level Technician Pay Range: $35,360 - $49,920/year
