The shop is heated but not air conditioned but we do have fans in the bays.

What is the size of the team I’d be working with?

Depending on the department you could be working with 8 Shop Techs, 4 Marine Techs, 5 Generator Techs, and 10 Office Staff.

What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

Monday through Friday, 7am - 5pm.

What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

All heavy duty tools are accessible to techs (i.e. jacks, lifts, special impact wrenches).

What type of break room facility is provided?

Typical lunch room, filtered water, ice, snack machines and so on.

How many bays does your shop have?

We have 12 bays.

How many repair orders do you average per month?

On average about 125.

What is your parts ordering process?

Techs writes up a parts list for the service estimator, back parts counter orders parts, tech picks up parts from the back parts counter.

What is your policy on side work?

W.W. Williams has a policy about outside employment that's conflict of interest.

A Level Technicians are highly skilled technicians that have strengths in their diagnostic and mechanical ability. This level of technician typically has many years of experience and education. We view an A Level Technician as the highest skilled technician in a shop
Pay Range: $68,640 - $83,200/year

Journeyman

B Level Technician
B Level Technicians are skilled in mechanical repair and, while not their specialty, have some diagnostic skills. B Level Technicians generally have a fair amount of experience and can be trusted to handle most repairs.
Pay Range: $54,080 - $72,800/year

Tech 2 - Tech 1

C Level Technician
C Level Technicians are more of entry level technicians. C Level Technicians’ responsibilities typically include basic maintenance, alignments, brake and suspension work, along with other base level repairs.
Pay Range: $45,760 - $58,240/year

Tech 4 - Tech 3

D Level Technician Pay Range: $35,360 - $45,760/year
