Do you have an application form and how long does it typically take to complete?

Yes, we provide an electronic application form or one you can complete at the dealership. It will take about 10-15 minutes.

What do your in-person interviews entail?

In-person interviews typically occur at our dealership where the potential hire will sit down with multiple management personnel. Typically the Service Manager, Assistant Service Manager and/or shop foreman is present for in-person interviews. A few basic questions are asked to find out what you are looking for in a dealership to see if we are a good match. You will have the opportunity to walk through our shop and talk to our technicians.

Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?

Yes. Background checks, driving record checks and drug testing are required

Do you perform a skill assessment before hiring an applicant? If yes, what does it entail?

Applicants will talk with the shop foreman or lead technician and they will review different job skills with you.

After an in-person interview, approximately how long should I expect to wait for a rejection or an offer?

Offers are made usually with 24 hours contingent on the background and drug screens.

A Level Technician
A Level Technicians are highly skilled technicians that have strengths in their diagnostic and mechanical ability. This level of technician typically has many years of experience and education. We view an A Level Technician as the highest skilled technician in a shop
Pay Range: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00/year ($33.65 - $48.08/hr)

Experienced technician with certifications and years of experience, a great work ethic.

B Level Technician
B Level Technicians are skilled in mechanical repair and, while not their specialty, have some diagnostic skills. B Level Technicians generally have a fair amount of experience and can be trusted to handle most repairs.
Pay Range: $58,000.00 - $75,000.00/year ($27.88 - $36.06/hr)

Multiple years of experience, not necessarily VW, but an excellent attitude and a desire to learn the brand

C Level Technician
C Level Technicians are more of entry level technicians. C Level Technicians’ responsibilities typically include basic maintenance, alignments, brake and suspension work, along with other base level repairs.
Pay Range: $45,000.00 - $65,000.00/year ($21.63 - $31.25/hr)

A new technician to the brand, with a strong willingness to learn, and to help us take care of our customers and our company.

Lube Technician
Lube Technicians are entry level technicians that focus on routine maintenance such as oil changes, changing tires, and inspections.
Pay Range: $32,000.00 - $40,000.00/year ($15.38 - $19.23/hr)

Someone interested in learning about the industry, that may be has experience with their own vehicle. Willing to work to help our customers.

Service Advisor
Service Advisors are primarily customer focused and, as one of the faces of the shop, they are critical in keeping customers happy. Service Advisors are frequently focused on taking customer calls, relaying information to technicians, and selling repair jobs. Both technical and sales experience are helpful for this position.
Pay Range: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00/year

Anyone that is willing to help another person solve their problems. Need the ability to keep up with a large number of inputs, while maintaining an organized system to ensure all the customers needs are met.

Student Tech / Apprentice
Student technicians work on entry level tasks while completing their school programs.
Pay Range: $38,000.00 - $45,000.00/hour

Someone that has educated themselves in the automotive field and is interested in committing and learning to repair vehicles
