We have portable heater, No air conditioning.
What is the size of the team I’d be working with?
In the shop 3-5 technicians.
What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?
Mon-Fri 07:00am-3:30pm
What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?
We provide all the special tools related to Volvo plus 10-ton overhead crane, and all the stationary tools such as hydraulic press, drill, grinder, etc.
What type of break room facility is provided?
We have a nice and good size break room with all the necessary devices, ice maker, fridge and freezer, coffee maker, microwave, toaster, etc.
How many bays does your shop have?

How many repair orders do you average per month?
100-150
What is your parts ordering process?
Our technicians use Volvo software to look up the part number then they send their parts order via email to service/parts department.
What is your policy on side work?
No side work. It's against the VCES policy.

We encourage our team to continue with their education and advance their skill set. We off state-of-the-art training and personal development

We conduct performance reviews on an as-need-basis for technicians.

Safety is a top priority for Volvo. We will provide all necessary State and Federal safety training required.
Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?
Our seasoned technicians are constantly a resource and partner with new technicians to ensure we are developing competent technicians throughout the training & onboarding periods.
How does your shop get involved with the local community?

Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?
We are not opposed to partnering with local school districts, but do not have a formal program for this.

Meeting with the Service Manager and Operations Manager to discuss the job n detail and discuss candidate's qualifications for the position.
