We have two used cars tech , four express techs and five VW tech s

What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

First team starts at 7:30 am to 5:00pm The second team starts at 8:00am to 5:30pm Saturdays is from 8am to 3pm

What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

We have all VW tools for everyone to use with four Vw scanned tool. We have the top of the line aftermarket markert scan tool.

What type of break room facility is provided?

We have a break room above the shop with everything you would need for a lunch break.

How many bays does your shop have?

How many repair orders do you average per month?

We do around 800 RO per month

What is your parts ordering process?

We use X-time

What is your policy on side work?

No side work

Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?

We offer the Matrix program for our on boarding technicians and offer continued on site education.

Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?

Our wide range of dealerships offer various paths to grow through apprenticeships and express tech positions to Certified and Master technicians.

Can you describe your performance review process?

We conduct annual performance reviews which consist manager review. Discussion includes how things are going, performance, and goals.

What type of safety training is required?

We offer training with KPA for safety related training.

Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?

We have a mentor/mentee program in place where the mentee works one on one with the mentor. The mentor will dispatch the work to the mentee and will help to complete the job if the mentee needs any assistance. Once the mentor and Mgmt feels confident the mentee is ready they would move up to mainline.

How does your shop get involved with the local community?

We support toy drives during the holidays We are always looking for meaningful ways to give back to the community.

Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

This is an area we'd like to see ourselves improve at

Where do you see the shop in five years?

In the next five years we see the shop continuously improving to get customers vehicles repaired faster and smarter. We certainly look forward to continued success and a great reputation.

Do you have an application form and how long does it typically take to complete?

We have a paper app, and a online app through the website. It usually takes 10 to 15 minutes.

Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?

Yes, sometimes we do ask questions over the phone before the in person interview.

What do your in-person interviews entail?

The candidate will go to the dealership, and meet with the Service Manager and or Manager for that position.

A Level Technician
A Level Technicians are highly skilled technicians that have strengths in their diagnostic and mechanical ability. This level of technician typically has many years of experience and education. We view an A Level Technician as the highest skilled technician in a shop
Pay Range: $87,000 - $106,000/year

B Level Technician
B Level Technicians are skilled in mechanical repair and, while not their specialty, have some diagnostic skills. B Level Technicians generally have a fair amount of experience and can be trusted to handle most repairs.
