Is the shop heated? Air conditioned?
Shop does have heaters, but no air condition. We have numerous fans in our shop for our technicians
What is the size of the team I’d be working with?
We have 3 highly skilled shifts of technicians. Our current team size is 22 technicians
What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?
First Shift is 7am to 3:30 Second shift 3pm to 11pm Third shift 11pm to 7am
What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?
We provide all Specialty tools and currently offer a program to get you your very own set of tool at a lower cost.
What type of break room facility is provided?
We have a changing room, lunch room, as well as tool room. We are soon to be doing renovations.
How many bays does your shop have?
7 Bays
How many repair orders do you average per month?
800
What is your parts ordering process?
We have our own parts department in-house which provides our own dealer network parts needed.
What is your policy on side work?
We do not promote side work of the same repair style
Are there any other unique features of the work environment worth noting?
We are here to pursue a positive work-based environment and strive to bring out the best in each of our technicians.
Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?
We have 30+ year veterans training on-site in our fields. We also offer Thermo King University training as well to help benefit your growth as a technician.
Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?
We have different levels of technicians based on on hands and written testing. Certified/Professional/Master. There's always room for technicians to advance as we like to promote within the company

We do performance reviews upon work ethic and workmanship.
What type of safety training is required?
We have an on-site safety manager,
Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?
We have a variety of ages currently working in our shop. You must be 18 years old. We put younger/inexperienced techs with our knowledgable/master techs for training as well.
How does your shop get involved with the local community?
We are constantly growing and offering jobs of communities.
Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?
We currently participate in job fairs at schools
Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?
We can if needed. We do prefer in-person over phone screening.
What do your in-person interviews entail?
We talk about experience, tools needed, and work ethics. We also like to know the candidate's career goals
Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?
Yes we perform all the above.
Do you perform a skill assessment before hiring an applicant? If yes, what does it entail?
No formal skills assessment. Assessment is done through the interview process
After an in-person interview, approximately how long should I expect to wait for a rejection or an offer?
One week
Approximately how long does the full hiring process take from submitting the application to the time of the hiring decision?
Possibly a week to two weeks
A Level Technician
Pay Range: $22.00 - $25.00/hour
Hourly paid position, based on three levels of certifications
C Level Technician
Pay Range: $29.00 - $35.00/hour
This is for a master certified technician that has completed all levels of certification and multiple years on the floor experience.
Student Tech / Apprentice
Pay Range: $20.00 - $22.00/hour
This is a starting position installing units.
B Level Technician
Pay Range: $25.00 - $29.00/hour
Hourly paid position, based on three levels of certifications
