26 Techs, 10 Express Techs, 14 Service Advisors

What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

7am to 7pm Mon-Fri, 7am to 5pm Sat. 7am to 3pm Sun. 4- and 5-day work weeks, 7am to 5pm and 9am to 7pm shifts.

What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

Tool sets provided for Express technicians. Toyota Techstreams and special service tools including battery testers and chargers provided for main shop use. 2 Hunter alignment racks, 4 Hunter tire machines, 2 Hunter tire balancers, 2 Hunter off car brake lathes, 3 Procut on car brake lathes, fluid exchange equipment.

What type of break room facility is provided?

In house Café, Technician break room with vending machines

How many bays does your shop have?

44 bay shop

How many repair orders do you average per month?

3200 CPRO 5000 CP/W/I

What is your parts ordering process?

Most Toyota parts that are not in dealer stock are available next day

What is your policy on side work?

Side work is not allowed

Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?

Training available from entry level Express Techs to Main Shop Technicians. Shop Foreman leads classroom and practical training with employees in Technician training program. 2 Master Techs that work with entry level techs as graduate from the Technician training program. Offsite manufacturer training with classroom and practical application.

Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?

We always look to promote from within and train staff as leaders. If our staff would like to grow into different roles/departments, we will work with them on a training plan.

Can you describe your performance review process?

Annual Technicians performance reviews cover: Gained certification, production, cooperation, and attendance.

What type of safety training is required?

In house and online safety training is provided

Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?

Our more seasoned technicians will help new techs learn the ropes. We encourage younger techs to ask questions, and to not be afraid of seeking help.

How does your shop get involved with the local community?

We always try to help our community when possible, whether it be sponsoring events or working with schools.

Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

We always look to collaborate with local schools and bring on students when possible

A Level Technician
A Level Technicians are highly skilled technicians that have strengths in their diagnostic and mechanical ability. This level of technician typically has many years of experience and education. We view an A Level Technician as the highest skilled technician in a shop
Pay Range: $80,000 - $120,000/year

Compensation for A Level Technicians ranges from $38-58/hour.

B Level Technician
B Level Technicians are skilled in mechanical repair and, while not their specialty, have some diagnostic skills. B Level Technicians generally have a fair amount of experience and can be trusted to handle most repairs.
Pay Range: $60,000 - $80,000/year

Compensation for B Level Technicians ranges from $28-38/hour.

C Level Technician
C Level Technicians are more of entry level technicians. C Level Technicians’ responsibilities typically include basic maintenance, alignments, brake and suspension work, along with other base level repairs.
Pay Range: $40,000 - $60,000/year

Compensation for C Level Technicians ranges from $19-29/hour.

Lube Technician
Lube Technicians are entry level technicians that focus on routine maintenance such as oil changes, changing tires, and inspections.
Pay Range: $0 - $38,000/year

Compensation for Lube Technicians may be up to $18 per hour (based on hours turned)

Service Advisor
Service Advisors are primarily customer focused and, as one of the faces of the shop, they are critical in keeping customers happy. Service Advisors are frequently focused on taking customer calls, relaying information to technicians, and selling repair jobs. Both technical and sales experience are helpful for this position.
Pay Range: $60,000 - $150,000/year

Service Advisors have the potential to make up to $150,000 annually

Student Tech / Apprentice
Student technicians work on entry level tasks while completing their school programs.
Pay Range: $15 - $18/hour

$15 to 18 per flat rate hour with 40 hour guarantee

HDHP Plans: Deductible+20% for In Network. Deductible+40% Out-of-Network. HSA Plan: Your account, invest tax free to save for medical expenses. Supplemental Insurance Available: Hospitalization, Critical Illness, Cancer and Accident Insurance
Dental Insurance Offered
DMO, PPO1 and PP2 plans available. Both PPO plans offer choice of using either In-Network or Out-of-Network providers.
Vision Insurance Offered
Vision plan use In-Network or Out-of-Network providers, with copay.
Retirement Plan Offered
401K Pre Tax and Post Tax deductions. Morgan Auto Group Contributes to the plan as well on your behalf, 25% of what you contribute per pay up to a max contribution of $1,200.00 per year.
Sick Leave Offered
FMLA available to eligible teammates.
Vacation Offered
PTO time is accrued from the first day and eligible for use after 90 days of employment: 91-364 days = 4 days of PTO 365 days- 2 years = 9 days 2 years = 10 days 6 years = 14 days 7 years = 15 days 8 years = 16 days 9 years = 17 days 10 years = 18 days 11 years+ = 19 days PTO will carry over from year to year but will cap at 200 hours.
Paid Holidays Offered
Full Time teammates are eligible for holiday pay based upon their individual pay plans. New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.
ST / LT Disability Offered
Short Term 60% of Average Salary or max 2k a week, Long Term 50% of Average Salary or max 8k per month.
Life Insurance Offered
Basic group (AD&D) Insurance – MAG provides all benefit eligible employees with Group Term Life and matching AD&D in the amount of 20k. Voluntary Term Life and AD&D Insurance available for yourself, spouse, and your child(ren) on a voluntary basis.
Uniforms Offered
Provided through Unifirst, there is a weekly $3.50 cleaning fee.
