We have 37 service employees.

What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

Monday-Saturday 7:30am-6:00pm We offer two shifts, 5 day 8hours a day and 4-10's

What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

We offer all specialty tools offered by Subaru. All you need is your personal tools and box

What type of break room facility is provided?

Our break room is heated and air-conditioned with kitchenet, refrigerator, dishwasher and TV

Our techs order parts thought our electronic MPI process

What is your policy on side work?

No side work allowed at our facility. Technicians are allowed to work on their personal vehicles

Are there any other unique features of the work environment worth noting?

Our shop is new and state of the art. We have three driver through Hunter quick checks

Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?

We are constantly training our technicians so we can have the most advanced and knowledgeable shop in Central Oregon. We pride ourselves in hiring like minded individuals that strive for excellence in everything that they do and hunger for knowledge.

Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?

There are many levels of advancement for our dealership not just in the shop but in the front of the store, we plan to grow our operations and current employees are where we look when new positions open up as a result.

Can you describe your performance review process?

We try and hold a performance review every 4-6 months with our shop asking questions about how you feel you fit in with the culture to what do you think is a major contributor to an ineffective work environment. We constantly post hours on the wall as well as where you will be as far as efficiency.

What type of safety training is required?

We work With SAIF and our insurance company to provide you with the proper training when it comes to chemicals, lubes, or machinery you will be working with.

Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?

Master technicians and shop foremen, we are currently working on a partnership with COCC and their automotive program to train technicians to be a part of our organization after graduation or during internship programs.

How does your shop get involved with the local community?

We are one of the biggest contributors to local charity in Central Oregon. We have worked with several different non profits in the area donating over $500000 to causes like, Grandmas House, First story, In Our Backyard, COBA, Central Oregon Trail Alliance, Humane Society, Big Brother Big Sisters, and so many more. We also are the presenting sponsor for General Duffy's Watering hole providing employees with VIP experiences and concert tickets as well as MT Bachelor passes. Finally, we provide the City of Bend with its fireworks display every fourth of July.

Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

We partner with COCC and the students going through the automotive program in order to attract talent that may need a scholarship through our internships.

Where do you see the shop in five years?

We just built a brand new facility so we imagine our shop to grow without limits for the next 5 years with new technicians and excellent practices to serve out over 10000 units in operation.

Do you have an application form and how long does it typically take to complete?

Yes, This form usually takes 10-15 minutes to fill out.

Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?

Yes, Expect a call if you are a qualified candidate within 24 hours.

What do your in-person interviews entail?

Usually our in person interview will be held with either the General Manager or the Shop Manager in the Shop managers office. We will ask questions focused on whether or not you will be a good fit for what we are looking for in a technician.

Yes to all

Do you perform a skill assessment before hiring an applicant? If yes, what does it entail?

No. We look for certifications or we assume you know very little about automotive. If you prove us wrong that is a welcome extra!

A Level Technician
A Level Technicians are highly skilled technicians that have strengths in their diagnostic and mechanical ability. This level of technician typically has many years of experience and education. We view an A Level Technician as the highest skilled technician in a shop
Pay Range: $80,000.00 - $140,000.00/year

This position is for Master certified Subaru Technicians. Flat rate position with bonus structure based on productivity .The Master technicians produce between 120-160 % productivity. Relocation assistance available at the discretion of the dealer

B Level Technician
B Level Technicians are skilled in mechanical repair and, while not their specialty, have some diagnostic skills. B Level Technicians generally have a fair amount of experience and can be trusted to handle most repairs.
Pay Range: $50,000.00 - $80,000.00/year

This position is for certified technicians with minimum 3 years of experience and working towards master Subaru technician. This is a flat rate position with a bonus structure based on productivity.

C Level Technician
C Level Technicians are more of entry level technicians. C Level Technicians’ responsibilities typically include basic maintenance, alignments, brake and suspension work, along with other base level repairs.
Pay Range: $40,000.00 - $50,000.00/year

This is an entry level tech position with basic automotive knowledge and training. This is a flat rate position with a bonus structure based on productivity.

Lube Technician
Lube Technicians are entry level technicians that focus on routine maintenance such as oil changes, changing tires, and inspections.
Pay Range: $25,000.00 - $40,000.00/year

This is a position for express technicians with opportunities to work towards becoming a technician

Service Advisor
Service Advisors are primarily customer focused and, as one of the faces of the shop, they are critical in keeping customers happy. Service Advisors are frequently focused on taking customer calls, relaying information to technicians, and selling repair jobs. Both technical and sales experience are helpful for this position.
Pay Range: $50,000.00 - $120,000.00/year

This is a commission based customer service position

Student Tech / Apprentice
Student technicians work on entry level tasks while completing their school programs.
Pay Range: $25,000.00 - $40,000.00/year

This position consist of working in Express or along side of a master tech while taking online and in person classes. This is an hourly position
