What is your parts ordering process?

This process is streamlined as follows; the parts clerk will receive an electronic or verbal parts order form from the technician or shop management. They will look up the needed parts if part numbers are not provided. They will issue a PO to the vendor and place the order. The parts clerk then tracks the order to ensure it arrives as promised. Once it arrives, the part is received into inventory and placed in the designated areas for the technician.
