Is the shop heated? Air conditioned?
The shop is heated. The overhead doors and shop is insulated. We have an air conditioned break room.
What is the size of the team I’d be working with?
We have a team of 4 technicians, 2 advisors with one support person for the advisors.
What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?
Shop hours are 8-5. Advisors are 7-5 and techs are 8-5.
What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

What type of break room facility is provided?
Air Conditioned with a microwave, refrigerator and sink
How many bays does your shop have?

How many repair orders do you average per month?
220 repair orders per month. We average 2.25-2.5 hours per repair order.
What is your parts ordering process?
Online integrated with our POS software.
What is your policy on side work?
No side work is allowed. We pay a very strong wage so you won't need side work to supplement your income.
Are there any other unique features of the work environment worth noting?
We buy lunch once a week for the team, celebrate birthdays and work anniversaries. We also award outstanding team member contributions once a month.
Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?
We believe in training. We offer paid training and find training for each of our team members needs. We believe service advisors need training just like techs to be the best at their career.
Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?
We are a growing and expanding organization so you have the opportunity to grow and advance as we do. We believe on promoting from within before hiring from the outside.
Can you describe your performance review process?
We meet weekly to discuss career direction, career development and personal development. We are also looking for feedback on how we are as an organization.
What type of safety training is required?
None
Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?
Our Foreman is our trainer, but all team members are expected to mentor younger techs.
How does your shop get involved with the local community?
We donate to local causes. Our biggest fundraiser of the year is Toys For Tots.
Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?
We participate on two local High School Advisory Boards.
Where do you see the shop in five years?
We will go over this during our interview process.
Do you have an application form and how long does it typically take to complete?
Our application is simple and only takes minutes to complete.
Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?
We do a 15 minute zoom call.
What do your in-person interviews entail?
Learning about your pervious expereince and career goals. We also want to make sure you'll be a good fit with our team members and our culture. Management and department team members will perform the interview.

After an in-person interview, approximately how long should I expect to wait for a rejection or an offer?
A couple days, but we will give you a better timeline during your interview.
Approximately how long does the full hiring process take from submitting the application to the time of the hiring decision?
It is a three step interview process that takes about 2 weeks.
A Level Technician
A Level Technicians are highly skilled technicians that have strengths in their diagnostic and mechanical ability. This level of technician typically has many years of experience and education. We view an A Level Technician as the highest skilled technician in a shop
Pay Range: $80,000 - $120,000/year
Weekly Guarantee with weekly performance bonus based on hours billed.
B Level Technician
B Level Technicians are skilled in mechanical repair and, while not their specialty, have some diagnostic skills. B Level Technicians generally have a fair amount of experience and can be trusted to handle most repairs.
Pay Range: $50,000 - $80,000/year
Weekly Guarantee with weekly performance bonus based on hours billed.
C Level Technician
C Level Technicians are more of entry level technicians. C Level Technicians’ responsibilities typically include basic maintenance, alignments, brake and suspension work, along with other base level repairs.
Pay Range: $35,000 - $50,000/year
Weekly Guarantee with weekly performance bonus based on hours billed.
Lube Technician
Lube Technicians are entry level technicians that focus on routine maintenance such as oil changes, changing tires, and inspections.
Pay Range: $15 - $20/hour

Service Advisor
Service Advisors are primarily customer focused and, as one of the faces of the shop, they are critical in keeping customers happy. Service Advisors are frequently focused on taking customer calls, relaying information to technicians, and selling repair jobs. Both technical and sales experience are helpful for this position.
Pay Range: $35,000 - $120,000/year
Weekly Guarantee with weekly performance bonus based off of Gross Profit.
Service Manager
Service Managers are responsible for management and overall health of the shop. Service Managers are typically focused on running an efficient shop that meets their financial goals. Other responsibilities can include staffing, performance evaluations, and financial analysis amongst many other responsibilities.
Pay Range: $80,000 - $120,000/year
Weekly Guarantee with weekly performance bonus based off of Gross Profit.
