1000 dollar tool reimbursement, 140 dollar boot reimbursement, 100 dollar prescription safety glasses reimbursement.
Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?
Performance is based on knowledge current and knowledge that will be learned as a mechanic's career progresses. By becoming Freightliner certified you will receive a $1.00 an hour increase. Also by being HM certified, you will get an additional $1.50 raise.

QC encourages internal career advancement. QC is rapidly growing!
Can you describe your performance review process?
Performance is based on knowledge. Current knowledge and as a mechanic's career progresses. The second part is their willingness to take on additional tasks such as performing HM inspections (going in and around the tankers to perform inspections) or R-stamp (welding inside or on the tanks), mentoring junior mechanics, and growing with the company.
What type of safety training is required?
All Safety training will be provided by Quality Carriers. It includes confined space training and Percipio training.
Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?
Younger technicians will be assigned a mentor or more senior mechanic so they can learn the QC way to make the needed repairs and inspections.
How does your shop get involved with the local community?
At this time we don't have any direct involvement, however we do support local businesses.
Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?
Currently only put up "Now Hiring" flyers
Is there anything else you’d like to mention about career development and community?
Technicians are a big part of Quality Carriers and as a rapidly growing company, there are a lot of opportunities for advancement and career growth.

Face to face interview and shop tour
Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?
Pre-employment background check, drug screen and non-dot physical. Must have a valid driver's license and be able to provide a high school diploma or GED.
Do you perform a skill assessment before hiring an applicant? If yes, what does it entail?
None
After an in-person interview, approximately how long should I expect to wait for a rejection or an offer?
48 hours usually.
Approximately how long does the full hiring process take from submitting the application to the time of the hiring decision?
Depends but not usually more then a couple weeks.
