Is the shop heated? Air conditioned?

Our current shop and our new facility are heated and air conditioned.

What is the size of the team I’d be working with?

Total number of techs varies by facility however, will range in total from 18-35.

What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

Shop and Store hours are 7:30-7:00 Monday-Saturday. We do have an early and a late crew with some flexibility built in.

What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

Provided tools are Mercedes-Benz specific. For new hires with no tools/experience we do offer a tool program where a basic set

What type of break room facility is provided?

We have 2 breakrooms for employees that have refrigerators, microwaves and televisions in our current facility.

How many bays does your shop have?

31 including alignment and a flat stall for EV battery replacement.

How many repair orders do you average per month?

At our current capacity we have

What is your parts ordering process?

We receive parts daily from the Manufacturer.

What is your policy on side work?

No side work is to be performed. Friends or family cars are acceptable with manager approval and an open RO provided it in not during employees working shift.

Are there any other unique features of the work environment worth noting?

Saturday lunch is provided for all who work that day.

Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?

We offer on-the-job training through our express team. We also have Brand certification training that is online. Then finally, there is Mercedes-Benz in-person technical training that is offered several times a year based on needs.

Can you describe your performance review process?

We do annual reviews that consist of a structured set of questions, a self-evaluation, overview of production for the prior year, and any recorded comebacks/quality concerns.

What type of safety training is required?

All Basic safety training is completed at Jim Ellis University at new hire orientation. All recertifications are completed at the dealership.

Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?

We do have an apprentice program for techs in-between our entry level (Express), and our main line technician roles. We also have team leads for Express and the mainline teams for those in need of help.

How does your shop get involved with the local community?

This is done at the store level.

Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

We have some outreach programs set up by our corporate training officer to include some local schools.

Where do you see the shop in five years?

Our current Mercedes shop will be in a new 90,000 square foot facility.

Is there anything else you’d like to mention about career development and community?

Our current Mercedes shop will be in a new 90,000 square foot facility. We will also have new MB Service only facilities in Newnan, Ga and Mcdonough along with a new MB Commercial vehicle center.

Do you have an application form and how long does it typically take to complete?

We provide links to our online applications and these take 3-5 minutes to complete.

Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?

We do preliminary phone interviews to determine the initial needs of the applicant.

What do your in-person interviews entail?

Our in-person interviews consist of the traditional meet and greet, a series of questions and on some occasions a technical aptitude test.

Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?

We do an AVA (personality survey), Drug screen, background and motor vehicle records check for all applicants being considered for hire.

Do you perform a skill assessment before hiring an applicant? If yes, what does it entail?

Most Technicians will be given a Technical aptitude test.

After an in-person interview, approximately how long should I expect to wait for a rejection or an offer?

Decisions to move forward in the process to hire are typically made within one week.

The onboarding process takes approximately 2 weeks after paperwork and all tests are complete. This includes time at our Jim Ellis University where the new hires get all their login credentials, and all job related basic DMS training.

A Level Technician Pay Range: $40.00 - $50.00/hour

● Requires no Supervision and willingly accepts all assigned work ● Capable of diagnosing and repairing all assigned work ● Able to open PTSS cases, respond consistently within 24 hours, perform diagnosis procedures as directed and record results with manufacturer ● Average in excess of 40 hours flat rate production per week over previous quarter (60 with an apprentice) ● 100% Certification status in all 5 Certified Technician pillars including EV ● Fixed Right First technician comeback count at or below department average PLUS RETENTION BONUS-SEE BENEFITS "OTHER" FOR DESCRIPTION

B Level Technician Pay Range: $35.00 - $45.00/hour

● Requires minimal to no supervision and willingly accepts all assigned work ● Capable of diagnosing greater than 90% of all work assigned ● 100% Certified in a minimum of 2 Certified Technician pillars ● Averages in excess of 40 hours flat rate production per week over previous quarter (60 with an apprentice) ● Fixed Right First technician comeback count at or below department average PLUS RETENTION BONUS-SEE BENEFITS "OTHER" FOR DESCRIPTION

C Level Technician Pay Range: $26.00 - $35.00/hour

● Requires moderate supervision and willingly accepts all assigned work ● Capable of diagnosing jobs of lower level complexity and completing most pre-diagnosed work that has been assigned. ● 100% Certification in Registered Technician Pillar PLUS RETENTION BONUS-SEE BENEFITS "OTHER" FOR DESCRIPTION

Lube Technician Pay Range: $16.00 - $18.00/hour

Service Advisor Pay Range: $80,000.00 - $125,000.00/year

Assist our customers with all their Service/Vehicle Needs including but not limited to checking in vehicles, taking Phone calls, finding the solutions to client's problems with vehicle, etc.* Our Ideal Candidates have a friendly/open Personality, Great Communication skills, be able to Multitask and have the ability to resolve issues in a timely and accurate manner. You will be the person who all your Guests/Clients go to drop off or receive their vehicle. Full-time employees are eligible for PTO after working one continuous year with the Company during their current period of employment. Once the one-year period is satisfied, the Company provides a pro-rata amount of PTO to be used until the start of the next calendar year based upon Effective Date: January 1st, 2022 22 an employee’s hire date. PTO from this pro-rata allocation is not rolled over to the next year and no payouts occur for any unused PTO from this pro-rata allocation. Starting with 1st subsequent full calendar year = 11 days per calendar year Starting with 2nd subsequent full calendar year = 16 days per calendar year Starting with 7th subsequent full calendar year = 21 days per calendar year

Technician Retention Bonus: payout percentages are based on Total earnings from January to December. Must be employed at the time of bonus is paid out to be eligible.
