Is the shop heated? Air conditioned?

Shop has ample heat. A good portion of our locations have air conditioning as well.

What is the size of the team I’d be working with?

Our team sizes are about 5-10 team members, depending on locaiton

What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

8-5 monday through friday

What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

We are heavily equipped with state of the art equipment. Nearly all lifts are new, inspected annually and serviced. New scan tools, dealer level scan tools, special tools, flush equipment, ADAS equipment and more is at each location

What type of break room facility is provided?

Location has a team member break room that has a fridge, microwave, some have stoves and ovens, pizza ovens, and table and chairs

How many bays does your shop have?

Our smallest facility has 4 bays, our largest is 14. Average is 6-8 bays

How many repair orders do you average per month?

Anywhere from 150 to 500, depending on location

What is your parts ordering process?

Our advisors look up and order all parts

What is your policy on side work?

We do not allow side work

Are there any other unique features of the work environment worth noting?

We have a family and team work environment and everyone is there to help each other at all times.

Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?

We are always offering training and continuing education opportunities. Our team members attend Vision each year, we bring in the top trainers in the industry to do in house training, and offer online training as well.

Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?

we believe in promoting from within. Each team member has access to any path they want to grow in and we invest in you to obtain your goals

Can you describe your performance review process?

We do one to one meetings with each team member regularly and by doing this, we keep a strong pulse on each team members performance and goals

What type of safety training is required?

We have regular safety training each month

Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?

Our shop foreman and other techs are all there to help each other. It doesn't matter how long or how much experience you have, we all learn from each other and that is how we operate each day

How does your shop get involved with the local community?

We are community driven and since we started 14 years ago, have given back over 1.4mm to our local communities

Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

Matt is on several tech school advisory boards, teaches classes for multiple high schools, and is on an advisory board for a high school as well. He also goes into multiple colleges and speaks to students regularly

Where do you see the shop in five years?

continuing to grow. We have 10 locations currently and our goal is 25, so growing!

Do you have an application form and how long does it typically take to complete?

We have an application form on our website, and also post open positions for our company on indeed. The application process takes about 5-10 minutes

Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?

No

What do your in-person interviews entail?

Our in person interviews are really about getting to know the candidate and why they were interested in joining our team. We take time educating them on our company and our beliefs, and just really getting to know them

Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?

We run DMR checks and do personality assessments to make sure each candidate is a good fit for our culture and a good representation of our company to our guests.

Do you perform a skill assessment before hiring an applicant? If yes, what does it entail?

For technicians we do a skill assessment online. Its about a 10 minute assessment.

After an in-person interview, approximately how long should I expect to wait for a rejection or an offer?

We try to take a slower approach to hiring as it is important to us that each person we bring into our team is a good fit and will be successful in our company. It is usually a week to two week process, sometimes longer depending on the position.

Approximately how long does the full hiring process take from submitting the application to the time of the hiring decision?

Lube Technician Pay Range: $15.00 - $20.00/hour

Pay is dependent on experience. Most people will start here and work towards a position where they may earn a bonus based on production or work towards a technician's pay.

Service Advisor Pay Range: $45,000.00 - $75,000.00/year

Our service advisor pay plan is a base plus biweekly bonus that allows each advisor to set their earning potential with us

Service Manager Pay Range: $65,000.00 - $95,000.00/year

Our service managers are the leaders of our stores and set the tone for success of their location. Base salary and monthly bonuses are pay makeup

A Level Technician Pay Range: $35.00 - $50.00/hour

our technicians are paid in several different ways allowing us to have the flexibility to offer unique pay plans to each potential team member based on their wants and needs. We try to tailor each plan to each individual that sets them up to be successful with our company.

B Level Technician Pay Range: $32.00 - $45.00/hour

our technicians are paid in several different ways allowing us to have the flexibility to offer unique pay plans to each potential team member based on their wants and needs. We try to tailor each plan to each individual that sets them up to be successful with our company.

C Level Technician Pay Range: $20.00 - $28.00/hour

our technicians are paid in several different ways allowing us to have the flexibility to offer unique pay plans to each potential team member based on their wants and needs. We try to tailor each plan to each individual that sets them up to be successful with our company.

Student Tech / Apprentice Pay Range: $15.00 - $20.00/hour

our technicians are paid in several different ways allowing us to have the flexibility to offer unique pay plans to each potential team member based on their wants and needs. We try to tailor each plan to each individual that sets them up to be successful with our company.
