Is the shop heated? Air conditioned?

The shop is heated. We also make the investment years ago to install giant ceiling fans throughout the shop

What is the size of the team Iā€™d be working with?

The complete team in Fixed operations is approximately 100 people. This is between the writing staff, technicians, parts, collision center, and all of the support staff.

What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

Shop Hours are Monday thru Thursday 7:30am - 7:00pm Friday 7:30 am - 6:00 pm Saturday 8:30 am - 3:00pm Schedules vary depending on the position, technicians always work a 5 day work week and do a rotation into Saturday every 3 weeks.

What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

Both Service facilities were just expanded. We offer the latest in technology and tools to help every technician be successful

What type of break room facility is provided?

Technicians have their own break room with refrigerator, microwave and sink.

How many bays does your shop have?

60 plus bays between both Service departments, Collision Center

How many repair orders do you average per month?

3000 plus per month

What is your parts ordering process?

We have one of the largest parts inventories in the area. We also do a large volume on internet sales. This ensures that our inventory is fresh and current.

What is your policy on side work?

Has to be pre-approved by Service Managers

Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?

We are laser focused on keeping current with the ever changing technologies. Training is available thru our manufacturers and also our vendors.

Can you describe your performance review process?

Performance reviews are an on-going and continuous process between management and employees. We feel this is one of the many keys to our success

What type of safety training is required?

Safety Training is a daily occurrence. Your safety at work is one of our highest priorities.

Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?

We encourage technicians to work together and learn together. We have had many success stories of technicians working their way thru the ranks from entry level to Journeyman.

How does your shop get involved with the local community?

We are always involved in the community. Whether it community groups, to charity work. Liberty loves our community.

Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

We work with the local high schools, to tech schools, to local colleges. It can be as little as advice to students wondering a career, to mentoring a student on their path. Some scholarship programs have been tied to Liberty Auto City.

Where do you see the shop in five years?

Growing. This business is exciting. Technology is coming in at 100 mph. Everyday brings itself its new direction.

Do you have an application form and how long does it typically take to complete?

A formal application is required. But this process is easy and only takes about 20 minutes to complete

If you prefer. I personally prefer face to face

Simple conversation. We discuss each others goals and how we can contribute to each others success.

We perform background checks and Insurance driving history test.

A Level Technician
A Level Technicians are highly skilled technicians that have strengths in their diagnostic and mechanical ability. This level of technician typically has many years of experience and education. We view an A Level Technician as the highest skilled technician in a shop
Pay Range: $80,000 - $120,000/year

As an A level technician, you are in control of your own destiny. There is no limit to the amount of hours you are allowed to book

B Level Technician
B Level Technicians are skilled in mechanical repair and, while not their specialty, have some diagnostic skills. B Level Technicians generally have a fair amount of experience and can be trusted to handle most repairs.
Pay Range: $35,000 - $60,000/year
