Currently 7 line techs, 2 apprentice techs, 4 lube techs, 3 recon techs

7:00am-5:00pm 5 days a week rotating Saturdays 8:00am-6:00pm 5 days a week rotating Saturdays

What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

Tech provides basic tools and we provide specialty GM tools, and major equipment

What type of break room facility is provided?

fridge, sink, microwave and vending machines

How many bays does your shop have?

29 bays plus one alignment rack

How many repair orders do you average per month?

1200-1400

What is your parts ordering process?

We use Auto.live, on average $500k parts inventory

What is your policy on side work?

At management discretion

We offer fully paid GM training and apprentice opportunities.

We offer apprenticeship training with our highly skilled GM certified technicians.

How does your shop get involved with the local community?

Group wide we have an annual day of service where we participate in a variety of services throughout the community. We also look for opportunities to volunteer or donate throughout the year.

Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

Work with local tech schools and continue to inspire young people to get involved in the automotive industry. We also offer a Tuition Reimbursement Program

Where do you see the shop in five years?

We will continue to grow the shop and maintain the outstanding reputation we have in the community. We will continue to have a strong team that enjoys coming in and working hard each day while enjoying some fun employee events along the way

Do you have an application form and how long does it typically take to complete?

Our application form is online and typically takes between 10-15 minutes to fill out.

Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?

No, unless the applicant is out of state.

What do your in-person interviews entail?

Just getting to know you better and what you're looking for as well as letting you know about our store culture and company. We will go over our benefits and what is offered, then a shop tour & Q&A.

We do background checks and drug screening

7-10 days depending on the background check and drug screening times

We offer a very casual environment where you are able to really get a good feel for our shop and culture without any pressure.

A Level Technician
A Level Technicians are highly skilled technicians that have strengths in their diagnostic and mechanical ability. This level of technician typically has many years of experience and education. We view an A Level Technician as the highest skilled technician in a shop
Pay Range: $65,000 - $125,000/year

Flag rate. Based on experience, certifications, and tenure

B Level Technician
B Level Technicians are skilled in mechanical repair and, while not their specialty, have some diagnostic skills. B Level Technicians generally have a fair amount of experience and can be trusted to handle most repairs.
Pay Range: $45,000 - $65,000/year

Flag rate. Based on experience, certifications, and tenure

Lube Technician
Lube Technicians are entry level technicians that focus on routine maintenance such as oil changes, changing tires, and inspections.
Pay Range: $28,000 - $40,000/year

Flag rate. Based on experience, and tenure

Service Advisor
Service Advisors are primarily customer focused and, as one of the faces of the shop, they are critical in keeping customers happy. Service Advisors are frequently focused on taking customer calls, relaying information to technicians, and selling repair jobs. Both technical and sales experience are helpful for this position.
Pay Range: $50,000 - $120,000/year

Aggressive commission structure

Collision Technician - A Level Pay Range: $75,000 - $125,000/year

Flag rate. Based on experience, certifications, and tenure

Collision Technician - B Level Pay Range: $45,000 - $75,000/year

Flag rate. Based on experience, certifications, and tenure

Collision Prepper Pay Range: $25,000 - $40,000/year

Hourly pay rate. Based on experience, and tenure
