Is the shop heated? Air conditioned?

Yes, we have a climate controlled facility.

What is the size of the team I’d be working with?

Currently we employ 19 technicians

What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

We have multiple shifts available: Monday-Friday - 7am-5pm - 7:30am-530pm - 8am-6pm Saturdays rotation of every 3rd Saturday 8am-4pm

What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

We provide tool box, work bench, computers, and all heavy tools.

What type of break room facility is provided?

Our break room facility includes a TV, Refrigerator, microwave, sink, ice machine, dish washer, filtered water, also a full locker room with lockers and shower facility.

How many bays does your shop have?

33 bays

How many repair orders do you average per month?

Average 2700 per month

What is your parts ordering process?

Electronic parts req. program, try to have parts associates deliver it but our parts department is located in middle of the facility if technicians need to grab parts.

What is your policy on side work?

Side work is not allowed

Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?

Yes, we offer Associated Development Classes, ASE Testing, Support Factory Certifications and Classes.

Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?

We prefer to promote from within. Multiple employees including our Service Director started in entry level positions and grew within company.

Can you describe your performance review process?

Performance Reviews are held every 6 months. We analyze production data and collaborate on how to improve moving forward.

What type of safety training is required?

Initially yes, business code of conduct trainings and facility safety trainings. Also we have continuous trainings throughout the year.

Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?

Lube technicians after about a year they get paired up with Master Technicians to continue training process.

How does your shop get involved with the local community?

Dealership is involved with local charities and animal shelters. We also offer new owner welcome events.

Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

Yes, we introduce ourselves to the student body, provide tour of facility with master technicians, q&a's with students.

Where do you see the shop in five years?

We see bigger demand for highly skilled technicians, and our business to continue to grow.

Do you have an application form and how long does it typically take to complete?

Yes its an online application that is accessed through our careers tab on our website. Typically it takes 5-10 minutes to complete.

Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?

No

What do your in-person interviews entail?

In-person interviews include an interview with the Service Director, a tour of our facility, then if applicable we will initiate a 2nd interview with Hr manager.

Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?

We require background checks, drug screens and personality tests.

Do you perform a skill assessment before hiring an applicant? If yes, what does it entail?

No skill assessments are required

Typically we will reach out with next steps in 4-5 days

A Level Technician
A Level Technicians are highly skilled technicians that have strengths in their diagnostic and mechanical ability. This level of technician typically has many years of experience and education. We view an A Level Technician as the highest skilled technician in a shop
Pay Range: $80,000 - $120,000/year

Flat rate Our A level technicians will be required to be ASE Master Certified, Factory Certified with 10+ years of technician experience.

B Level Technician
B Level Technicians are skilled in mechanical repair and, while not their specialty, have some diagnostic skills. B Level Technicians generally have a fair amount of experience and can be trusted to handle most repairs.
Pay Range: $50,000 - $80,000/year

Flat Rate Our B level technicians will have Some ASE Certifications, factory certifications are not required, with 5-6 years of experience.

C Level Technician
C Level Technicians are more of entry level technicians. C Level Technicians’ responsibilities typically include basic maintenance, alignments, brake and suspension work, along with other base level repairs.
Pay Range: $30,000 - $50,000/year

Flat Rate Our C level technicians will have 2-4 years of automotive technician experience no certifications are required.

Lube Technician
Lube Technicians are entry level technicians that focus on routine maintenance such as oil changes, changing tires, and inspections.
Pay Range: $20,000 - $30,000/year

Lube technician and Mechanic Apprentice

Service Advisor
Service Advisors are primarily customer focused and, as one of the faces of the shop, they are critical in keeping customers happy. Service Advisors are frequently focused on taking customer calls, relaying information to technicians, and selling repair jobs. Both technical and sales experience are helpful for this position.
Pay Range: $75,000 - $120,000/year
