What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

Shop hours are Monday - Saturday 7:00am-6:00pm. Closed Sunday We utilize a 4/10 schedule, meaning our technicians work four days per week with three days off and every third week they have five days off in a row.

What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

All factory specialty tools are provided.

What type of break room facility is provided?

We have a break room equipped with full size frig, a microwave, a television and Pepsi machine.

How many bays does your shop have?

We have 16 bays in our main shop and 8 bays in our preowned shop.

How many repair orders do you average per month?

1400

What is your parts ordering process?

Parts are ordered through ASR and we have next day service.

What is your policy on side work?

No side work is permitted in our shop. Technicians may work on their personal vehicles only.

Are there any other unique features of the work environment worth noting?

Large well lit shop that is fully air conditioned. Our shop is cleaned nightly. We also have a fully automated carwash.

Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?

Training is integral to a technicians success. Factory training is available as a technician progresses through his in house development.

Can you describe your performance review process?

We review on an informal basis throughout the year. We perform a formal review of an employees performance every 12 months.

What type of safety training is required?

We train all employees concerning OSHA safety requirements.

Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?

Young technicians are assigned to a mentor tech who oversees their development.

How does your shop get involved with the local community?

We support local charities. food banks and one of our favorites...Toy's for Tot's.

Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

Our company actively recruits and supports our local high school automotive programs and we are active with our local community college automotive programs.

Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?

Yes, we provide an electronic application form or one you can complete at the dealership. It will take about 10-15 minutes.

What do your in-person interviews entail?

In-person interviews typically occur at our dealership where the potential hire will sit down with multiple management personnel. Typically the Service Manager, Assistant Service Manager and/or shop foreman is present for in-person interviews. A few basic questions are asked to find out what you are looking for in a dealership to see if we are a good match. You will have the opportunity to walk through our shop and talk to our technicians.

Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?

Yes. Background checks, driving record checks and drug testing are required

Do you perform a skill assessment before hiring an applicant? If yes, what does it entail?

Applicants will talk with the shop foreman or lead technician and they will review different job skills with you.

After an in-person interview, approximately how long should I expect to wait for a rejection or an offer?

Offers are made usually with 24 hours contingent on the background and drug screens.

Approximately how long does the full hiring process take from submitting the application to the time of the hiring decision?

48-72 hours depending on background and drug screens

Lube Technician Pay Range: $32,000.00 - $37,000.00/year ($15.38 - $17.79/hr)

Lube Technician is an hourly position. Starting pay ranges from $15.00 to $17.00 per hour based on experience.

C Level Technician Pay Range: $41,000.00 - $52,000.00/year

C level technicians are techs in development. Pay rates will vary based on aptitude and experience.
