The shop is heated, but not air conditioned.

What is the size of the team I’d be working with?

15 Service and Parts employees

What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

The shop hours of operation are from 7:00-5:00 M-F; Express hours are from 7:00am – 4:00pm M-F; and 8:00-1:00 Saturday. Technicians work 5 days a week, with a rotating schedule including 1 Saturday each month.

What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

All GM special tools are provided. Technicians provide their basic tools.

What type of break room facility is provided?

There is an air-conditioned breakroom located next to the service department including a small kitchenette, refrigerator, sink, and TV.

How many bays does your shop have?

We have 20 bays in the department.

How many repair orders do you average per month?

We average 730 repair orders a month.

What is your parts ordering process?

Parts are ordered through our parts department. Parts are ordered daily.

What is your policy on side work?

Technicians are allowed to work on vehicles of immediate family which is defined as employee, spouse, parents, children and siblings. Vehicle must be worked on after technician’s shift is over but during business hours.

Are there any other unique features of the work environment worth noting?

The facility is Electric Vehicle Certified and meets all requirements to properly diagnosis and repair EV’s. Inclusive of charging stations, special tools and a forklift on site.

Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?

Yes, there are trainings that we have for the service tech position. Travel to relevant manufacturer and other training courses.

Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?

We have a lot of opportunity for career growth within the service technician position to gain additional skills and mentor other apprentice technicians.

Can you describe your performance review process?

There are regular performance check-ins and reviews. We offer merit-based pay increases based on performance and/or including AC certification level.

What type of safety training is required?

Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know and other safety requirements. Online safety trainings at time of hire and ongoing.

Our world class master technicians partner with other technicians to review their workmanship, their best practices and create opportunities to work side by side to gain additional skills.

We are involved in several local charities and philanthropic opportunities to support and engage our local community.

A skill assessment is not part of our hiring process; however, we do have a prescreen survey as part of the application process (5-7 questions).

Automotive Technician Pay Range: $17.00 - $37.00/hour

**PLUS SIGN-ON BONUS UP TO $7,500.00** Hourly wage is just one part of our total rewards package which additionally includes performance bonus for eligible roles, commissions, and competitive benefits.

Lube Technician Pay Range: $17.00 - $22.00/hour
