Some tools provided for quick lane Main line shop is brake lathes, tire balance & mounting machines, basic shop tools

Nice sized break room with microwave and fridge

25 bays

What is your parts ordering process?

Parts are ordered using Dealer Logic by the tech

Make arrangements with management

Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?

Store pays for continuing education and obtaining Nissan certifications

Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?

There are opportunities to move up in pay based on certifications for techs as well as opportunities to move into any position within the automotive group

Can you describe your performance review process?

Reviews are done twice a year to ensure the employees career path goals are being met and to review any new goals or objectives.

What type of safety training is required?

There is group wide compliance classes.

Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?

We have apprentice programs for younger techs. The programs are based on the experience and schooling of the appreciate (some are hourly paid and some are flag rate).

How does your shop get involved with the local community?

We have a group wide day of service where we do a variety of service projects within the community. As a dealership we also look for volunteering options through service or donations.

Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

Service Manager will attend trade schools and recruit through there. At any given time there is a variety of tech school students working towards becoming apprentices.

Where do you see the shop in five years?

The shop has lots of room for growth on the tech side. There is plenty of work to be done to help with that growth.

Do you have an application form and how long does it typically take to complete?

Our application form is online and typically takes between 10-15 minutes to fill out.

Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?

No, unless the applicant is out of state.

What do your in-person interviews entail?

Just getting to know you better and what you're looking for as well as letting you know about our store culture and company. We will go over our benefits and what is offered, then a shop tour & Q&A.

We do background checks and drug screening

We offer a very casual environment where you are able to really get a good feel for our shop and culture without any pressure.

A Level Technician
A Level Technicians are highly skilled technicians that have strengths in their diagnostic and mechanical ability. This level of technician typically has many years of experience and education. We view an A Level Technician as the highest skilled technician in a shop
Pay Range: $72,800 - $83,200/year ($35.00 - $40.00/hr)

$35-$40 per hour

B Level Technician
B Level Technicians are skilled in mechanical repair and, while not their specialty, have some diagnostic skills. B Level Technicians generally have a fair amount of experience and can be trusted to handle most repairs.
Pay Range: $62,400 - $72,800/year ($30.00 - $35.00/hr)

$30-$35 per hour

C Level Technician
C Level Technicians are more of entry level technicians. C Level Technicians’ responsibilities typically include basic maintenance, alignments, brake and suspension work, along with other base level repairs.
Pay Range: $41,600 - $62,400/year ($20.00 - $30.00/hr)

$20-$30 per hour
