Under The Hood

Is the shop heated? Air conditioned?

We currently do not have air conditioning in the shop, however plan to do so in the future.

What is the size of the team I’d be working with?

We have more than 20 technicians, several service writers, dispatcher, multiple porter to help move vehicles in and out of the shop, and a management team that cares about you.

What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

Shop hours here are Monday thru Friday from 7:30 to 5:30. T

What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

All manufacturer specialty tools, lifts, multiple stalls etc.

What type of break room facility is provided?

Simple breakroom, tables and chairs. Changing room, etc.

How many bays does your shop have?

We have a total of 40 bays 35 with lifts.

How many repair orders do you average per month?

We averaged around 1700 repair orders per month for 2023, but recently, why we are search hard for technicians is we are seeing up to 120-130 cars daily At this rate, that will put us close to 2500 plus per month this year.

What is your parts ordering process?

We have a standard parts process for non-stock/out of stock items. First, locate part to see if its available today, if not, source where it's coming from and order overnight as needed.

What is your policy on side work?

"Side work" be limited to personal vehicles on-site as long as that doesn't interfere with our normal days business. After hours and weekends can be available as long as staffing is available.

As a technician, not only will we help you become a master technician, but we will also help you in whatever direction you wish to grow. From technicians to Master Technicians, to management, and all the way to being a GM if you want. Your effort, your journey, the opportunities are endless.

Can you describe your performance review process?

We meet daily, monthly, and annually to review needs and performance and offer assistance where needed

What type of safety training is required?

Basic safety training happens at least once to twice a year.

Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?

If entering and an entry level technician, you are assigned to one of our master techs to help you learn the steps needed to be successful. This typically last for one to two years but can be less based on skill set and how well you pick up on training and processes

How does your shop get involved with the local community?

We are involved in schools, from high schools, community college and universities.

Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

AOC, Asset, AYES, and other high school, college and manufacturer programs are just some of the programs.

Where do you see the shop in five years?

I see us growing and adding, possibly building another shop in the next 5 to 10 years based on our currently growth. Our business has grown exponentially, and we have lots of room for more.

Is there anything else you’d like to mention about career development and community?

Career development with our group can expand in so many directions. From Automotive, Rental, Fleet, Maintenance, to management, We help all of our employees to grow how they wish to grow,

Do you have an application form and how long does it typically take to complete?

We do, the application is basic and only take a little while to fill out.

Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?

We do both, depending on where an applicant is.

What do your in-person interviews entail?

We like to spend time getting to know our applicants, likes, dislikes, history, etc., and like to share a lot about ourselves to make sure it's a great fit for both.

Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?

Everyone is required to go through a background check and drug test.

Do you perform a skill assessment before hiring an applicant? If yes, what does it entail?

We like to discuss roles, what you know about the role and do ask questions to make sure that the role you are applying for makes sense for you and fits our needs.

After an in-person interview, approximately how long should I expect to wait for a rejection or an offer?

Length of time on Interviews can vary depending on the role and questions asked by everyone. It's also time spent getting to know each other.

Approximately how long does the full hiring process take from submitting the application to the time of the hiring decision?

Again, this can vary both the roll and question but, in most cases, it takes about a week or so.

B Level Technician Pay Range: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00/year

C Level Technician Pay Range: $45,000.00 - $75,000.00/year

Service Advisor Pay Range: $50,000.00 - $120,000.00/year

Service Manager Pay Range: $80,000.00 - $150,000.00/year

Lube Technician Pay Range: $30,000.00 - $70,000.00/year

A Level Technician Pay Range: $70,000.00 - $170,000.00/year

Student Tech / Apprentice Pay Range: $18.00 - $25.00/hour
