  • Alignment Pit. This is awesome because we can align anything, lowered vehicles, lifted vehicles, F450 trucks and any car, van or SUV.

Under The Hood

Is the shop heated? Air conditioned?

Shop is heated with infrared heaters and well ventilated. We have 8 Port-A-Cool evaporative coolers that are used in the warmer months. Each Advanced Level Tech (A, B & C) gets their own Port-A-Cool evaporative cooler.

What is the size of the team I’d be working with?

Five Advanced Level Techs Five General Service Techs 4 Auto Service/Tire Advisors 1 Parts Specialist 3 Front Office Staff

What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

We are open from 7:30 am - 6:00 pm (Monday-Friday) and 7:30-4:00 (Sat) 5 day work week Shifts include a 1 hour lunch break

What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

The shop provides Scanners for Advanced Level (A, B & C) Techs The shop provides: specialty tools such as A/C SNIFFER, SMOKE MACHINE, BALL JOINT PRESS, BEARING PRESS, STRUT PRESS. We have about 60 specialty tools.

What type of break room facility is provided?

The shop has two break rooms. The main break room has is up to date and clean and has a television, sofa, table & chairs, refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven and drink vending machine. The secondary break room has a sofa, television and bathroom.

How many bays does your shop have?

Eighteen total bays. 13 in the front of the building and 5 in the back of the building.

What is your parts ordering process?

We have $85,000 in inventory. After the customer approves the Repairs, Maintenance or Tires, the Tire and Auto Service Advisors work with our Parts Specialist to quickly obtain the needed parts and provide them to the technician.

What is your policy on side work?

Not Allowed

Are there any other unique features of the work environment worth noting?

We have a "Life Coach" that is available 24/7 but also comes by twice each week to briefly meet with each employee.

Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?

Shop pays for completed and passed ASE Certifications. The shop offers online training and in-person training that is 100% paid by the shop.

We provide daily coaching and feedback with more formalized meetings monthly.

What type of safety training is required?

Safety training is done in house and varies with the position.

Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?

Our less experienced techs are given daily help and instruction in any areas that they need help in. We want the less experienced techs to grow and advance in their careers. We do work as a family, but we try not to put the burden of training all on the experienced techs.

How does your shop get involved with the local community?

We are very committed to helping people. That not only includes our customers, but also those in need in our community and beyond our community.

Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

We endorse and support the local Vo-Tech system and have a working relationship with the Vo-Tech leadership.

Where do you see the shop in five years?

We've experienced tremendous growth and expect to continue on that path.

Yes, we have a brief phone interview with potential employees.

What do your in-person interviews entail?

We get more information by filing out an in-person job application. Our in-person interview includes discussion about the applicants experience, what we offer and general employment questions.

Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?

We perform background checks, drug screening and driver's record checks during our "30 day working interview" period of employment.

Do you perform a skill assessment before hiring an applicant? If yes, what does it entail?

Yes. We sometimes perform skill assessment on Advanced Level Techs (A, B & C) and also Auto Service Advisors. We may have the applicant perform an online skill assessment or we would have the applicant work with us for 1-3 days.

After an in-person interview, approximately how long should I expect to wait for a rejection or an offer?

We can make you an offer to join our team at the in-person interview. It is possible to start employment within 1-2 days.

A Level Technician
A Level Technicians are highly skilled technicians that have strengths in their diagnostic and mechanical ability. This level of technician typically has many years of experience and education. We view an A Level Technician as the highest skilled technician in a shop
Pay Range: $74,300 - $118,800/year

We offer flat rate, salary and hourly pay plans. Our A Level Technicians are highly skilled and leaders within our Service Department. They have high level training with all vehicle requirements to diagnose and complete repairs on vehicles. They are experts in their field of automotive diagnosis and repair. They have an opportunity to continue to learn from in-house training, online training and in-person training.

B Level Technician
B Level Technicians are skilled in mechanical repair and, while not their specialty, have some diagnostic skills. B Level Technicians generally have a fair amount of experience and can be trusted to handle most repairs.
Pay Range: $52,400 - $74,300/year

We offer flat rate, salary and hourly pay plans. Our B Level Technicians are are skilled in most components of the vehicle. They are working on all components of a vehicle from diagnostic to the completion of the repairs. They have an opportunity to continue to learn from in-house training, online training and in-person training.

C Level Technician
C Level Technicians are more of entry level technicians. C Level Technicians’ responsibilities typically include basic maintenance, alignments, brake and suspension work, along with other base level repairs.
Pay Range: $41,600 - $52,400/year

We offer flat rate, salary and hourly pay plans. Our C Level Technicians are are in their early stages of becoming highly trained and skilled technicians. They have an opportunity to continue to learn from in-house training, online training and in-person training.

Lube Technician
Lube Technicians are entry level technicians that focus on routine maintenance such as oil changes, changing tires, and inspections.
Pay Range: $33,800 - $41,600/year

We offer salary and hourly pay plans. Our Tire & Lube Technician role is an entry level position that we use to introduce employees to service department operations. Once in this role, an employee will be put on a career path to develop and prosper.

Service Advisor
Service Advisors are primarily customer focused and, as one of the faces of the shop, they are critical in keeping customers happy. Service Advisors are frequently focused on taking customer calls, relaying information to technicians, and selling repair jobs. Both technical and sales experience are helpful for this position.
Pay Range: $55,000 - $75,000/year

We offer salary and hourly pay plans. Service Advisors work directly with the assisting, advising and selling customers their auto maintenance, auto repair & tire needs. They have an opportunity to continue to learn from in-house training, online training and in-person training.
