That will make way for over 1,250 students to get training in 16 certification programs that will be offered there. It will become the largest automotive training center in the state. Augusta National Golf Club and Jim Hudson Lexus each committed $1 million to the project back in April. The automotive group’s $1 million donation will help Augusta Tech become the flagship location for extensive automotive training in the areas of electrical/hybrid technology, heavy and light duty diesel, auto body and collusion repair, motorsports technology, and a host of other emerging technologies in the automotive industry.
