Currently, appraisers do initial scrub and send parts orders to our in-house parts team who will scrub a second time against vin and either place orders for in-house OEs (wholesale parts for some OEs are also in-house), and other orders are sent to our affiliated dealers. Parts are brought to tech bays when received.

What is your policy on side work?

Great existing team with no large egos. We are very protective about who we add to the mix and value high character as much, or more, than the skill of the individual.

Ongoing paid training for all OEs we are certified in along with paid icar training and we would be happy to discuss assisting with any other ambitions with training and/or development.

Local vocational programs, tech schools, and trades.

Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

We take full advantage of any opportunities afforded to us by our partners in the schools.

Do you phone screen applicants before doing in-person interviews?

I would always prefer to meet in person. I think it's important for both sides to be clear on the position and what each party is looking to achieve. The facility speaks for itself, but we want to ensure the fit works for us both.

General questioning with the sharing of background information and future expectations from both parties.

Do you perform background checks, drug screening, or personality tests before hiring an applicant?

We do standard drug testing and background checks.

Not at this time, although questions are raised regarding any owned certifications.
