Is the shop heated? Air conditioned?

The Shop is Heated and we just added A/C!!

What is the size of the team I’d be working with?

We have 6 Service Advisors and 25 Technicians of varying Skill Levels. We also have a Service BDC Team to help communicate efficiently with Customers.

What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?

Shop hours are 7:30- 6:00 Monday through Friday. 8:00 to 3:00 on Saturdays.

What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?

We provide all special tools required by the Manufacturer. Standard tools are the Tech's responsibility.

What type of break room facility is provided?

We just finished a beautiful locker room with spacious individual lockers for all Technicians. A spacious and brand new break room was also just completed!!

We use X Time which communicates your needed Parts instantly as you request them.

What is your policy on side work?

No side work is allowed.

Are there any other unique features of the work environment worth noting?

We consistently upgrade our facilities and perform all safety inspections in a timely manner. We pride ourselves on the cleanliness and organization of the shop.

Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?

Yes. We have mentors to help advance technicians with their skills and training.

Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?

Training through Chevrolet and Hare Chevrolet is required to help technicians grow. We have seen several of our techs achieve World Class status. We have promoted and trained young techs from Quick Lube to successful Line Techs.

Can you describe your performance review process?

The Service Manager reviews performance and pay weekly with Techs and Advisors.

What type of safety training is required?

Lift Training and OSHA Training are required and provided.

Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?

We have experienced Techs and a Shop Foreman to help develop younger techs.

How does your shop get involved with the local community?

We are very active in the community. Noblesville Schools, Boys and Girls Club and Prevail just to name a few.

Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?

Yes. We do Job Fairs and have provided space to learn and work on vehicles.

Where do you see the shop in five years?

It is an exciting time as Electric Vehicles will be a whole new type of work for technicians alongside traditional vehicles.

A Level Technician
A Level Technicians are highly skilled technicians that have strengths in their diagnostic and mechanical ability. This level of technician typically has many years of experience and education. We view an A Level Technician as the highest skilled technician in a shop
Pay Range: $75,000 - $200,000/year

We also offer the ability to earn stock in Asbury Automotive for top performers.

B Level Technician
B Level Technicians are skilled in mechanical repair and, while not their specialty, have some diagnostic skills. B Level Technicians generally have a fair amount of experience and can be trusted to handle most repairs.
Pay Range: $65,000 - $200,000/year

C Level Technician
C Level Technicians are more of entry level technicians. C Level Technicians’ responsibilities typically include basic maintenance, alignments, brake and suspension work, along with other base level repairs.
Pay Range: $55,000 - $100,000/year

Lube Technician
Lube Technicians are entry level technicians that focus on routine maintenance such as oil changes, changing tires, and inspections.
Pay Range: $28,000 - $45,000/year

This is a great starting place for those who aspire to be a Line Technician.

Service Advisor
Service Advisors are primarily customer focused and, as one of the faces of the shop, they are critical in keeping customers happy. Service Advisors are frequently focused on taking customer calls, relaying information to technicians, and selling repair jobs. Both technical and sales experience are helpful for this position.
Pay Range: $70,000 - $200,000/year

Student Tech / Apprentice
Student technicians work on entry level tasks while completing their school programs.
Pay Range: $15 - $23/hour
