The shop is both heated and air conditioned to be comfortable year-round.

What are the shop hours and what are the shift timeframes?
Our shop hours/shifts are Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm with an hour lunch.
What tools does the shop provide that are available for all technicians to use?
We provide all factory scan tools and will purchase any specialty tools needed to get the job done.
What type of break room facility is provided?
We have a comfortable break room with a table, chairs, microwave, refrigerator, and water filter.
How many bays does your shop have?
9 bays total 2 bays are available for each technician to use

What is your parts ordering process?
We have a dedicated parts advisor who handles ordering and delivery based on what technicians request.
What is your policy on side work?
Family vehicles only
Are there any other unique features of the work environment worth noting?

Do you offer any skills training or continuing education opportunities?
We encourage our staff to take regular training. We have a minimum 8 hours of training required each year for each technicians. For offsite training, our shop will pay for hours you are there, plus any costs of lodging, travel, and meals.
Can you describe opportunities for career growth at your business?
There is always room for growth into higher positions, such as Shop Foreman or management roles. We look to promote from within when possible.
Can you describe your performance review process?
Along with weekly meetings the owner conducts with each employee, we have weekly lunch staff meetings. Formal performance reviews are conducted every 6 months.
What type of safety training is required?
Informal safety training is provided when an employee starts, and as-needed any time.
Can you describe how Techs work with and mentor younger techs?
Seasoned technicians will get clocked time for any time they spend mentoring newer techs. We currently have an apprentice at our shop and may be open to more in the future.
How does your shop get involved with the local community?
We would love to get more involved in the community when an opportunity arises.
Do you do anything with local high schools or tech schools to encourage more students to enter the profession?
We partner with a local community college to get young techs into the profession.
Where do you see the shop in five years?
We hope to continue growing in profitability and efficiency, while taking care of our staff and ensuring we have the best workplace around.
Do you have an application form and how long does it typically take to complete?
We have a paper application that takes no more than 10 minutes to complete.

What do your in-person interviews entail?
In-person interviews include a shop tour, and give us a chance to speak with the candidate. We try to find out as much as possible about the candidate's experience and skills, while ensuring they are a good fit for our team.

We will ask a few technical questions during the verbal interview.

Approximately how long does the full hiring process take from submitting the application to the time of the hiring decision?
Usually no more than 10 days depending on everyone's schedule. We try to make the process as quick as possible!

A Level Technician
A Level Technicians are highly skilled technicians that have strengths in their diagnostic and mechanical ability. This level of technician typically has many years of experience and education. We view an A Level Technician as the highest skilled technician in a shop
Pay Range: $60,000 - $90,000/year
Compensation is flat-rate and based on efficiency and experience.
B Level Technician
B Level Technicians are skilled in mechanical repair and, while not their specialty, have some diagnostic skills. B Level Technicians generally have a fair amount of experience and can be trusted to handle most repairs.
Pay Range: $40,000 - $60,000/year
Compensation is flat-rate and based on efficiency and experience.
Lube Technician
Lube Technicians are entry level technicians that focus on routine maintenance such as oil changes, changing tires, and inspections.
Pay Range: $25,000 - $35,000/year
($12.02 - $16.83/hr)
